Another event in NYC

I am going to have to miss this one, but that does not mean that others should not know about it.  It is through Baby Bites NYC and it is titled Best Products for New Moms.  I would have loved going to this as I am clueless.  I have a ton of friends that are new moms or newer moms, however they do not live near me.  Plus don’t we all want a reason to flaunt our pregnant bellies and especially when it is around a ton of other pregnant bellies?  I think that it is fun to learn about all of these things too.  You only get to experience your first pregnancy, and the naivety curiosity that goes with it, once.  The event is on Sunday, May 17th at the Tudor Hotel, 304 E 42nd (bet 1st and 2nd), 1:30 to 4:30pm.  Sadly, I will just be returning from Chicago and would not make it from Newark in time to attend.   I hope that you can check it out and perhaps comment on how interesting (or not interesting) it was.  Plus, they are giving away some of those “best” products, good luck and hope someone out there wins.

Big City Mom’s event – Stroller Spectacular

Big City Moms is having an event on Tuesday, May 19th and Wednesday, May 20th.  They are holding it at Planet Kids – Tuesday is on the UWS and Wednesday is on the UES, both at 6:30pm.  I am so excited about this event as we are still not sure which stroller we want to add to our registry.  We are torn between the Uppa Baby and the Orbit.  They are both very different strollers with great features.  The question becomes which features are most important to us.  We don’t know, which is why this event should be very helpful.  At the event, there is a giveaway and I may come home with a free stroller.  Though I have to admit that I am not too confident about that one since I am one of the most unlucky person I know.  I am lucky in life, just not contests.  I hope to see lots of expectants moms (and dads) from the UWS there.
